The national marching band championship takes over Lucas Oil for three days, with prelims Thursday and Friday, then semifinals and finals on Saturday. Bands come in from all over the country. If you’ve only ever seen state-level marching, this is a different thing entirely.
This one pairs classical ballet with projection and lighting design, so the stage shifts around the dancers as the story moves. Shorter and more visual than a traditional ballet, which makes it an easy first ballet for younger kids. Two showtimes on Saturday, at 4:00 and 6:00.
